1800s Woven Wool Blue & Cream Reversible Bed Coverlet

This is a fine old bed overshot coverlet woven in deep blue wool and cream cotton or linen thread. It is woven in 2 vertical pieces with a center seam joining them. The pattern is reversible, with the dark blue more prominent in the weave on one side. It measures approximately 74" x 81" plus about 2" of blue wool fringe on the ends.

Condition is good. The fringe is a little sparse in some areas. No holes found.

This would be a wonderful addition to a country home decor to cover a single bed or fold at the end of a bed.
