This is a heavy well marked sterling silver necklace featuring 5 jungle animals on each side leading up to a central large elephant and a large triangular faceted amethyst stone drop. Each animal is marked on the back STERLING as well as a maker's mark that appears to be 16j. The clasp is marked 925 for sterling silver as well. The small pairs of animals are elephants, rhinos, leopards, hippos, and lions.

The necklace weighs as impressive 77.9 gr., that's about 2.75 oz. of silver. The necklace measures 20" around plus the 2" long center drop comprised of the large elephant and amethyst. The amethyst measures 25mm x 18mm, a good 1" across. The large elephant is 1.125" tall. The necklace is .75" wide through the section with the double linked animals.

Condition is good.
