This is a beautiful 1920s-30s vintage 800 silver compact for powder and lipstick. It has an indistinct mark on the end of the lipstick holder, and tests positive for at least 800 grade silver. The compact has floral engravings on all sides. The top is further embellished with 6 red paste stones set into the center of the flowers. The compact opens by pushing in on the lipstick's square on the front right edge. Hold this in again while closing the lid to engage the latch and close. The lid hldes a beveled mirror.

The compact measures 2.875" x 2.375" x .75". It weighs 119 gr.

Condition: There is some discoloration on the top right edge of the mirror inside, otherwise good condition.

This compact would be an elegant purse accessory to carry, and a very special gift that would be sure to please and surprise.
