SOLD 1895 Hallmarked Sterling Silver Memento Locket Pendant w/ Tiny Doll

This is an exceptionally charming hallmarked sterling silver memento locket pendant that contains a miniature black frozen Charlotte doll nestled in a bed of cotton. The locket is well marked on the underside of the lid and inside the case for London 1895. This locket slides and turns off to the side to open. There is a tiny arrow engraved on the top to indicate which direction to slide it in. The face of the locket has a round crystal window to view what's inside.

The little black doll inside is only 1" tall. It is wearing a simple wrapping of green ribbon.

The locket weighs 18.9 gr. It measures 1.375" tall x 1" across x .375" thick.

Condition: The crystal glass window has some scratches. Otherwise all is in good condition. The locket opens and closes well and holds closed.

This simple plain little memento locket is quite unusual with its tiny doll inside.
