What a charming early doll's cradle! This sweet thing"s outside dimensions measure 14.25" long x 7" wide x 6" tall. The posts and sides are spool turned. The whole cradle is painted an old turkey red color. There is a stenciled pattern on the headboard and foot board, both inside and out.

It comes with its original little hand tied red cotton quilt plus a top and bottom sheet.

Condition: The paint is scuffed over all. One end of the bed (head or foot) long ago had the top curve broken off. One of the turned side bars that pegs into the headboard has broken free at that pint of connection. One of the cradle rockers has a small chip off the top and a sliver off the bottom. The bedding is worn and is fraying in spots.

Rustic, early and charming, this little bed would be wonderful for an early doll. It looks darling with the old cloth topsy turvy doll I have for sale separately.
