This is an elegant lady's 18K yellow gold (stamped and tested) Victorian period open face, hunting pocket watch. It comes in an antique leather covered box probably not original to it. This is a key wind watch and has been matched with a base metal watch key that serves to wind it but is not original.

This round pocket watch measures 40 mm in diameter, not including the stem. The face is gold decorated with multiple textures, a floral bouquet in the center tondo, and black Roman numerals. The reverse is decorated with a shield in the center, a garland of morning glories around the periphery, and a basket weave pattern in the background. The edges of the case are decorated with geometric engraved patterns.

The interior of the case is stamped, "K 18, 75529". The watch weighs 43.9 g. The watch is in good condition. It runs when wound. It's accuracy as a time piece has not been checked, but there is an internal adjustment for fast or slow. There are no makers marks on the face or movement.
