Eames Era Gilded Cast Iron Geishas with Hand Painted Shoji Screen

This beautiful ensemble is a recent Southern estate acquisition. It features three gilded cast iron Geishas from the Eames Era accompanied by a lovely hand painted Shoji Screen in gold with brown and white floral branches. The screen is signed in the upper left corner. The screen looks like silk, but it is possibly a thin Shoji paper. The screen is bound in black lacquered wood with gold tone repousse trim. The cast iron figures are 7" tall and the screen is 15" wide and 10 1/2" tall. The figures all have paper labels with OMC Japan on the bottom as well as felt furniture protectors. There is very minor wear to the figures and screen. The colors are vivid on the screen and the ensemble is so attractive and a fine example of the era.
