Trumpeting Angels Dresser Box by Toyo

This is a lovely dresser box by Toyo and the label on the bottom reads Toyo, Made in Korea. The box is 5" x 5" and is 2" deep. It is intricately carved with trumpeting angels, hearts, flowers and doves. And, the box is heart shaped, of course! It is quite heavy and appears to be made of clay and dipped in gold paint. There are a few minor scratches on the bottom from table wear, but does not affect the overall beauty of this piece. A nice, romantic piece that would be a lovely Victorian style accent piece.
