This is truly an elegant piece of jewelry recently acquired from a Southern estate. It is a two-dimensional brooch in gold tone filigree design centered with an extremely large bezeled faceted Emerald green rhinestone. The foiled back stone is open backed and the brooch is signed Avante on an oval cartouche. It is 2 1/2" in diameter and in wonderful condition.
