Circa 20's Porcelain Made in Japan Figurines

These wonderful old figurines are a recent estate acquisition. They are in white porcelain trimmed in gold. The gold shows some wear but there are no chips, cracks or repairs. They certainly appear to be a couple of great esteem given their attire and composure. The woman figurine is almost 6" tall due to her coiffure and the gentleman is 5" tall. They are both marked with the mark of Maruyama Toki Yamoshiro, Seto, Aichi province which dates between 1920 and 1930. They are elegant pieces and sure to please!
