This wonderful serving bowl was recently acquired from a South Louisiana estate. It is the hand painted Lexington Rose pattern by Red Wing Pottery and is hallmarked on the back with the Red Wing mark. The Red Wing Pottery company was noted for unusual dinnerwear designs and this bowl is no exception. It is a square serving bowl with gently rounded corners and is 8 1/4" square. If you measure across from corner to corner it is 9 1/4". It is 2 1/2" deep. There are no chips or cracks and the hand painted pattern is excellent. There is very faint crazing. It is an excellent piece in wonderful vintage condition!
