Lots of great estate finds coming soon!
This lovely lacquered wooden wall box was recently acquired from a southern estate. I call it a matchbox holder, but it appears to have been used for a floral arrangement as there is some dried glue in the bottom. I think it could be used for any number of things, just let your imagination run wild! It is 8 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" wide. The opening is 2 1/2" x 1 1/2". The front is beautifully hand painted with strawberries and blooms and signed by the artist. There is a small hole at the top for hanging. It is in excellent vintage condition!
