Hazel Atlas Batter Jug "Poppy" Design ~ Gay Fad Studios ~ Circa 1950s

This big batter jug or pitcher was recently acquired from a Southern estate. It is the 48 oz. size and is 9 1/4" high with the lid. It is marked 5378 on the bottom and HA (hard to see). This batter jug is by Hazel Atlas and is in the Poppy design. It is painted by the Gay Fad Studios , Circa 1950s. It has brightly painted red orange poppies and white daisies with dark green leaves and has "Waffles" written in three places. It has a gold or dark yellow plastic top with a long curved handle and overall it is in remarkable vintage condition.
