It is wonderfully scalloped around the deep cobalt edges and bouquets of English florals decorate the entire top surface. The center of the platter has a drippings well and the sides of the huge platter are flared upward with shallow depressions for the juices to flow downward to the well. This is such a wonderful find from an estate. This lovely Jack-in-the-Pulpit vase is by Jefferson Glass Company 1909-1910. An example and description is in "The Standard Encyclopedia of Opalescent Glass" by Bill Edwards and Mike Carwile ~shown on page 42 in the 4th Edition and page 43 in the 5th Edition. This old and very pretty duck planter is marked Made in Japan on the bottom. It was recently acquired from a Southern estate. The duck has big eyes and a big open bill and has certainly spotted a treat! The high back has an opening that is 1" in diameter. The duck is 3" tall , 4 1/2" wide and in wonderful condition with only a tiny nick at the edge of the planter opening. The painting is lovely and the glaze has protected it very well.

It has a lovely true blue tulle band and bridal bow at the back. The inside diameter of the hat is 21", the brim extends out 2 1/2" and the crown is 3 1/4" high. This is a wonderful piece of glassware by Westmoreland. The hen on the nest milk glass box is 4 1/2" tall with the lid and at the top of tail feathers. It is 5 1/2" long and 4 1/2" wide. He head is a beautiful red and the overall box has great detail as in all Westmoreland's nest series. It is hallmarked Westmoreland in the top of the lid and in the bottom of the nest. It is in mint condition.

The faceted bead necklace is aglow with sparkling glass Aurora Borealis beads separated with Aurora Borealis crystal spacers. The necklace has a hook and chain closure and extends to 15". The clip earrings are wired with Aurora Borealis crystal glass beads on a silvertone base and are 1" in diameter.

This lovely brooch was recently acquired from a Southern estate ~ and Southern it is! The cameo of the lovers is highly detailed in an open work design. The lovers are encircled in a small floral work frame with the four corners of the brooch featuring beautifully detailed roses. The brooch is slightly over 1 1/2" wide and just under 1 1/2" high. It is hallmarked Sterling on the reverse. It is in beautiful vintage condition and if her dress were longer, I would call them Rhett and Scarlett!!

This vintage Fenton lamp is a recent estate acquisition. It is 11" tall. The coin dot glass is approximately 5 1/2" tall with a crimped top. It sits on a carved black wooden footed base that is 1 1/4" tall. The metal or lampworks portion shows a good bit of wear, but only adds to the vintage beauty.
