This wonderful old ratchet noisemaker is a recent acquisition from a South Louisiana estate. It reminds me of a vintage Mardi Gras celebration! The noisemaker is by US Mfg Co and is hallmarked with their logo on the front. It is 5 1/2" long and 2 3/4" at the widest point and 3/4" deep. It has a red wooden handle and when twirled , the noisemaker makes a clacking sound. The lithograph is of a party girl and is in excellent condition. There is light wear consistent with age.
