Vintage 60s Vanity Fair Montgomery Ward Sheer Bridal Nightgown

This vintage gown is so light, lovely and sheer, it appeared to be a classic Vanity Fair from my favorite era, the late 60s.. but the label was MW Collection, a name I was unfamiliar with. The denier, styling, fabric even the lace just was so Vanity Fair, i couldn't wait to get home to research it.. Sure enough, the RN number is registered to Vanity Fair! Who dreamed that they would create such lovelies for Montgomery Ward?

And this truly is lovely.. very Bridal, honeymoon, special occasion or just treat yourself to a beautiful, feminine white nightgown!

One- fourth inch delicate white lace trims the low round scoop neckline and actully becomes the straps. A four inch ruffle of sheer ultra soft white chiffon collars the gown, and creates little fluttery cap sleeves. A white grosgrain bow accents the neckline.

Long to the floor with a beautiful fullness, the gown is the ultra fluid semi sheer fluid nylon Vanity Fair became famous for.. just absolutely heavenly next to your skin!

Label ~ gold print, cursive " M W Collection " .. side seam- Montgomery Ward, RN 16345, which is Registered to Vanity Fair. 100% Nylon, M medium, should fit S small, and some L large due to the free styling, please let the measurements be your guide:

Bust ~ 45 Waist~ free hips ~ 59 arm opening ~ 23 length - shoulder to hem ~ 56 sweep of hem ~80

Condition ~ extremely gently worn, no apparent flaws.
