A most romantic yet flirty wedding gown, it was purchased in the early 80s from a vintage store, this possibly is 70's doing 40's? Either way, its vintage, and stunning!

Victorian style neckline has white applique'd lace all around it with beautiful faux pearls and aurora borealis sequins that subtly glisten. at the center of the applique, long strands of faux pearls and AB stones are clustered and look like the most beautiful pendant.

The Applique continues down the front in a long vee to about the waist, where the cluster of dangling pearls and clear ab beads are repeated. The entire bodice is tulle with machine embroidered lace, and accented with little clusters of three faux pearls and seqins; as well as all down the lace applique.

The body of the dress is a stunning embroidered lace with wider flowers that have a wonderful soft dimension.

Leg of Mutton sleeves have both laces, the delicate almost as an inset in the top of each sleeve forming the puff, and edged with the lace applique; accented of course with the dripping faux pearls, AB sequins and beads. The sleeves from the elbow to the hem are beautifully ruched down the center of each.

Just above the hemline, more of the lace applique is applied in a subtle zig zag, with the point up toward the neckline in the center, accented with the cluster of faux pearls identical to the neckline. Soft gathers of the lace give it a full mermaid / fishtail hemline.

Back closes with large faux pearl buttons through loops.

The dress comes with a matching ivory satin underpinning / slip. The slip has rolled satin straps and a vee neckline, long to the floor and has a back zipper. The slip is so well constructed and heavy enough it could easily be worn as a dress on its own.

Label ~ no maker, it does have a tag " 100% polyester .. made in the Dominican Republic with US goods'.. Dry clean only. size 12, it measures:

Bust ~ 36 Waist~ 32 hips ~ 38 arm opening ~17 Back, shoulders, arm seam to seam ~15 length - shoulder to hem ~53

Note: Vintage sizing is NOT standardized, please compare these measurements to something comfortable that you already own, Shown on a size 6 mannequin

Condition ~ extremely gently worn, i dont find any missing beads or faux pearls, but it is possible. Tiniest discoloration at left front near arms, should remove with light spot cleaning. a dry cleaning to freshen this would be recommended. No flaws, other spots stains or tears. in beautiful condition.
