19th C. Opaline Enamel Ruffled Edge Vase

This is a beautiful 19th Century Opaline Vase with Ruffled Edge in Pink Opaline. I believe it is either Czech or French.

This is a right handed vase with a gold ring on the finger. The beautiful handpainted enamel is mostly intact, with very minor loss, mainly the gold around the bottom of the ruffled edge. The colors are gorgeous, from the Pink Ruffled Edge Glass to the accent painted colors of gold, orange and blue.

There are no chips, cracks, etc. The hand vase looks to be in very good condition.

The vase measures 9 1/2" Tall x 4 1/2" Wide.

As is common in antique handblown vases, the vase is very delicate and the bottom has a rough pontil and wobbles slightly. The opaque part of the vase looks as if there may be some bubbles (intact), and there is also an area inside the vase where the glass formed a small 'ball' in the manufacturing process. These issues should be of no consequence, however I want to be as accurate in my description as possible.
