When you place an order with us, we respond within 24 hours with shipping information (if not already included in the item description). We ask that you finalize your PAYPAL payment within 3 days, or email us to confirm that your USPS POSTAL MONEY ORDER will be received here within 5 business days; if not, we will relist the item.

If you are looking for a particular vintage item, write and let us know; we will do our best to help you with your special quest!

Return Policy
Ruby Lane and each of its independent shops want you to be satisfied with your purchase. To ensure your satisfaction and for the protection of both the buyer and shop owner, we have a Return Policy that each Ruby Lane shop owner honors. View Return Policy now.

Shipping/Handling/Insurance Policy:
Buyer pays actual shipping & insurance charges only (including the delivery confirmation fee): we absolutely do NOT charge a handling fee. We will happily combine your purchases to lower the total shipping costs.

Estimated shipping to US destinations for basic items:Most clothing will be between $4.05 and $5.75 for priority mail...smaller items can be sent via first class for usually around $3.00. Heavier coats can be around $8.75 or more. Bulkier items are dependent upon destination, and can run between around $8 to $30 typically.

We happily accept International Orders, but must figure shipping separately, and require PAYPAL only for payment. Please email us for estimated rates per item.

Restocking Fee:
We charge a 10% restocking fee on all returned items.

Other Information:
We will provide gift wrapping and shipping to a third party, for most items, if you're interested (see fees below).

We use ivory wrapping paper with ivory tissue and organza ribbon for weddings, anniversaries, engagements, and baptisms; for everyday gift giving we wrap in racey red with black ribbon; or for the winter holidays our elves use holly berry red with co-ordinating ribbon & tissue. We charge $5.00 flat rate for most items; furniture or larger items are more, dependent upon the item. Thank you!

We PREFER PAYPAL, but we will accept USPS POSTAL money orders, however we require payment to be received here within 5 business days of your order. Unfortunately, we no longer accept personal checks or cashiers checks. We prefer PAYPAL, and require it for International orders, and all orders over $100 USD.
