Here is an outstanding vintage RAB gabardine western shirt; one of that rare breed that are getting harder and harder to find. And this one is a real beauty in a soft steel blue (almost slate gray blue) color...

It screams "H Bar C" but there is no label in the back of the neck except for the 15.5M Washfast stamp on the gorgeous tan satin collar lining. The collar and cuffs on this are pristine, and the seams are all french finished. There are peaked front yokes, and a TRIPLE peaked back yoke!! The pockets flaps are cool sawtooth with double pearl snaps (RAU KLIKIT), there are 5 snaps down the center front, and 3 on each PEAKED cuff and another on the placket!! Every snap is in like new condition, too, no duds, none pulled out.

OH, and UNDER the pocket flap, is a half bound finished pocket rather than just a turned one!

The back is gorgeous, also, as there are tucks (down from the side peaks) to accent a great cowboy waist! COME ON COWBOY!

This is labeled 15.5 Medium, but measures 44" at the chest, about 17" across the back shoulders, 24" sleeve, and 28" long from shoulder to hem.

This is a fantastic western wear find, and it's in outstanding vintage condition with only very slight slight oxidation under the arms (you really have to look for it...it wouldn't even show up in photos...i tried!). With the satin lined back yoke and collar, and fine quality gab, this is estimated to be from the the mid to late 40's.

Perfect for Viva Las Vegas, or cruisin' honky tonks on a Friday night!
