This has a wide elastic band in the center, and of course the circular reinforced stitched bra cups for that pointy sweater girl look so sought after in the late 50s and into the 60s.
The original tags are still attached at the center front, so we are NOT going to wash this; it does have a few very light age spots that will come right out with a fresh wash. Some collectors prefer the tags remain on the garment, that is how we are selling this, then.
Marked a 34A, style 566. Made in the USA. Super comfy all Cotton. 3 rows of double-hooks spaced 3/4" apart. Pretty scalloped cotton lace edging along the top. Adjustable straps.
Also known as a "torpedo bra". Very well made, in wonderful NOS condition.
