Vintage 1950's Ivory Satin Ball Drop Bridal Cap

The circular part of the hat is about 6" across. There are two gracefully curved side tabs covered in satin as well.
This has an ivory grosgrain ribbon on the under side, there is also an attached elastic band. There is a tab on the underside that has the number "22" embroidered on it.
This is a wonderfully dramatic hat; we think it would be exquisite for a princess bride with a cloud of frothy chiffon or gossamer organza billowing out behind it!
This is in remarkable vintage condition with typical and very minor aging evident, please see all photos.
Although this is quite lightweight and small, we will pack this safely in a sturdy box for shipping.
