Vintage Late 1950's Fuzzy Soft Purple Hat with Felt Trim

Here's a fun hat in a wonderfully rich dark purple. It is so soft and fuzzy; the underside is smooth felt, the top side practically feels like fur! The body is by Duchess and was made in Italy.

This has a purple grosgrain ribbon inner band that measures 20.25". It is labeled "Wolf's Des Moines".

This has a rolled brim, it is about 2" deep to the front, and tapers to about 1" at the back. There are two bands of double-stitched felt for accents, and a CUTE felt loop attached to the very top! it has a kind of Trilby shape to it, making it whimsical and fun.

Our white mannequin has a smaller head, so we were able to pull this down on her brow a bit more than the other manni; please see all photos.

This is in really good, very clean and very wearable condition, although it could use a light steam and re-shape, if you'd like.

Great color, great hat; these look fabulous with a huge brooch or pin! Very wearable, and collectible as well.
