Happy Holidays! with 25% off ALL orders paid for by December 7th!
It is 17" from end to end; laid flat she measures only 11" from the bottom to the top of the handle (which is about 15" from end to end). When filled nicely, she sits anywhere from 3 to 4" wide.
She has four tapered brass feet to protect the tapestry bottom which is in wonderful condition; there are only a couple of very small pulls (see photos, please).
This has the look of leather, however it is actually a very nicely made quality vinyl that trims the top, the side bands and the ends, as well as makes up the handle.
The interior is pristine, and lined in black acetate. There is a side pocket (on the inside) with a 7" brass metal Lamar zipper. The top clasp is brass toned, and snaps securely shut. This purse is in very very good, very wearable condition.
These long purses were particularly popular in the 1950's, and into the 60's, the colorway even suggests 1940's. As there are no labels on this, and it does have the vinyl trim, we guess-timate it to be 1960's.
