The sets are attached through a crocheted base, then the rhinestones were placed, and then the prongs (4 for EACH one!) pulled down to secure. That base is stitched to an ivory moire faille lining which also acts as the strength for this little purse.

There is a small handle on one end; it is 3/8" wide and doubled into a loop that is 2" long. This is enough space to hold rhinestones set 2 wide and 18 long (total); this is one area that has missing stones, though. There are 3 missing on one side of the handle, and two on the other. It, too, is strengthened with faille on the opposite side.

There are 2 stones in particular that have clouded; when inspected closely, you can find a few more that are beginning to turn a bit, but overall the majority of the stones are super sparkle-y and fabulous!

This measures a dainty 5" x 3" (which is plenty of room for any party girl's essentials) with a 4 and 7/8" metal Talon zipper with a bell shaped pull set into the top. The interior has a bit of darkening, please see attached photo.

We would consider this as more of a collectible piece, as they have become quite difficult to source by now, and also because of its somewhat fragile condition (the handle); however it DOES make a dramatic statement, and is a lovely way to carry your lipstick to your Christmas party or best friend's wedding (some old, something new).
