Fabulous 60's Turquoise & Olive Floral Print 2 Piece Dress Set

These cute straight silhouette dresses are often referred to as "wiggle" dresses due to the movement resulting when walking in a skirt with these slim style lines!

This one is a COOL color combination of rich turquoise blue background with deeper teal blue, and olive & avocado green flowers and leaves with black detailing. This is one of those AWESOME prints that SMACK fun 60's, with the bohemian crewel floral look to it!

This is a two-piece set consisting of the cute dress and a cropped short jacket with flirty over-sized collar and 3/4 sleeves!

This set appears to be custom made as the seams are unfinished (cut and trimmed, but not serged or french finished). The wide-set squared neckline of the dress is faced as are the extended shoulder cap sleeves.

The dress has a side zipper (11" metal Crown) with front and back waistline darts for fit. The skirt has double darts in the back and a center back seam (with kick pleat) while the front of the skirt has double pleats which lay nicely flat on the tummy.

Laid flat, these measure: Dress: ~20" across the front under the arms ( ~40 bust) ~15" across the waist (30" waist) ~21" across theoretical hip (7" down from waistline) ~15" from shoulder seam to waistline ~24.75" from waistline to hem ~50" around the bottom of the hem

The jacket measures: ~20" across the bust (40" total) ~16" across the back shoulders ~15" from center back of the neck to the hem The collar is a FUN 4.25" deep! ~11.25" from underarm seam to sleeve hem (has an elbow dart for extra fit, too!) The jacket has fitting darts for the bodice from the shoulders down to the apex. The front of the jacket is faced back, while the center back of the neck is double turned and finished cleanly.

We would guesstimate this as about a size 10, although we strongly recommend measuring a dress of your own that you LIKE how it fits, and compare to these.

This would be SUPER sweet with an olive belt and shoes, & a vintage beaded choker!
