Sweet Vintage Late 1970s Early 1980s Ginger Jones of California Ruffle Front Poufy Puff Sleeve Girl-Next-Door Blouse

Girl Next Door sweet ruffly blouse by Ginger Jones of California. In the late 70s there was a trend toward Victorian inspired silhouettes and styles; this blouse features some of those in the super gathered feminine puff sleeves, PERFECT for the Fall 2009 fashion trends!

Also, this has a stand up collar with wing tip front reminiscent of earlier times as well, AND it comes with a "string" tie of espresso brown with teeny harvest gold and white paisleys!

The bodice ruffles are tapered from about 1" wide up to 2.75" wide at the shoulder creating a slimming and flirty look! The sleeve hems are finished with a ruffled hem, also, it is 1 and 7/8" deep.

This is labeled "style #4731 LGE"; laid flat it measures: Bust: 38" Back shoulders: 15.75" Center back of the neck to the hem: 21" Neck point to shoulder point: 4.75" Shoulder point to sleeve hem: 26"

This is a 35% cotton, 65% polyester blend. It has a nice smooth lightweight slubby muslin look in a soft ivory off-white tone. There is a whisper of pilling in areas where expected: under the arms a bit, we thought we'd find more near the cuffs, but there isn't. We did find one spot though, about the size of a dime on the back side of the left sleeve about 3" up from the ruffle; we just found it as we were measuring the sleeve.

This is freshly laundered; a simple soak may pull the spot right up (we did not soak her, just popped her in the washing machine). Pricing low accordingly.

This is perfect office attire, but ever-so-cute with jeans and heels, too!
