Here is a wonderful scalloped hem vintage crocheted apron from the 1950's which ties in the back. The waistband/ties are about 1.5" wide, it is about 14.5" from the bottom of the waistband to the hem. The apron itself is about 18" where it attaches at the waist, and flares to 28" across the hem! The tie/waistband is about 52" long. There is some stretch to it from the open crochet weave.
