This is a wonderful necklace. The sea shell is very nice sized, approx. 2 1/2 " by 2 3/4" wide. The silk cord necklace is approx. 22 inches. There is no clasp, it fits snugly over your head and sits nicely just below your neck. It has beautiful coloring in the shell from white to a deep coral color. I will say that the trim on the shell is gold tone, because I don't know what the trim is.
