This is a very cute butterfly necklace. The butterfly is a gold tone metal with a very dark green to black enamel filling in the wings. There is one tiny piece of enamel next to the body, but I didn't see it except with my pictures. The chain is a smooth really neat box link chain.

The butterfly is approx. 2 1/4 inches by approx. 1 3/4 inches high. The box chain is approx. 24 inches in length. This is a really lovely, attractive necklace. I believe that the necklace is from the 70's to the 80's.
