This is a fantastic pin. The construction is outstanding and it is in very good vintage condition. All of the rhinestones are present. They sparkle. The pin is beautifully designed, with a mesh like ribbon down from the main pin with wire swirling around the mesh and inter set with clear rhinestones. I just love it and so will you. It is a wonderful size at approx. 3 1/2 inches high and 1 1/8 " across. Adele Simpson is a well known fashion designer that sold in boutiques. To coordinate with her fashions, she produced jewelry in limited quantities for only a few years. Adele Simpson jewelry was only produced in the 1940's and 1950's. At that time, the jewelry could be in the price range of $50 to $500 in the 1950's. For the discerning collector, this is a wonderful addition. You can search and only find a few pieces of her jewelry. And this is one of the outstanding pieces. To look at it you would think that it is something designed today, and it is more amazing when you discover that it was made in the 40's or 50's. What a creative person she was.

Thanks for looking, it is so much better than my pictures of it.
