Hawkes Hand Cut Crystal Champagnes or Tall Sherbets Set

This is a set that includes four champagnes or tall sherbets. These fabulous glasses are Hawkes Cut Crystal. By the end of the nineteenth century the company was known for the best in cut glass. Even after the ware lost its general popularity, the Hawkes factory continued to produce cut glass of finest quality. The bottom of each has the early acid stamp, suggesting these are late 1800's to early 1900's. Each bowl has the Hawkes Inner Optic pattern number 7090 with the "Sheraton" hand cut border. Each is approximately 4 3/4 inches tall. All four are in extremely fine condition. In a separate offering I have the matching salad plates.
