9 Piece Opaline Glass Dressing Table Set, c.19th Century

This is a fabulous vintage nine piece dresser set. The set is made of heavy white opaline glass, hand-painted with multicolored flowers and leaves and then detailed with gold paint. The gold paint is quite worn, which is typical. However, the paint painted flowers and leaves are in excellent condition. The measurements on the individual pieces are as follows: dresser tray 10.5 inches x 4.5 inches / covered powder jar approximately 4 1/2 inches round by 5 1/2 inches tall / round covered trinket box approximately 4 3/4 inches round by 5 inches tall / rectangular jewel box 3 inches x 2.75 inches x 2 1/4 inches tall / scent bottle 6 3/4 inches tall. The rectangular jewel box has a small chip on the box, which I've tried to show in a photograph. All of the other pieces are in excellent condition. It is extremely rare to find an antique opaline set with this many pieces, and rarer still to find one in this kind of wonderful condition. This set dates to the late 1800s-early 1900s. What a gorgeous addition this would be on any dressing table!
