Fostoria "American" Large Center Handled Plate, c. 1915-1986

This gorgeous, center handled plate, was made by the Fostoria Glass Company. The pattern is the highly collected "American", which is heavy pressed pattern glass made from 1915 until 1986. When placed under a black light, this piece glows a beautiful green color, suggesting this is one of the earlier pieces of Fostoria "American". It measures 11 3/4 inches round. The center handle extends approximately 4 inches high. Condition is superb. Certainly a must have for collectors of the "American" pattern by Fostoria Glass!
