Early 1900's Signed Bronze Chimp Desk or Dresser Piece

This is an outstanding desk or dresser piece, c. early 1900's. This little chimp is made of solid bronze or brass. I believe he is signed on the bottom, though I could barely capture it with my camera. All I could make out was the word "Chimp" and possibly the letter "W". His tail curls around his body and stands straight up. A perfect holder for rings or papers. He is 4 1/4 inches tall. Over the long years of his life, he has developed a patina that adds to his beauty. Condition is excellent.
