About Us
Vintage costume jewelry allows us to experience "real" glamour. People wore glamourous jewelry, accessories, and clothing in 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's, and 60's designers such as Weiss, Coro, Vendome, DeLizza and Elster, Eisenberg, Lisner, Regency, Miriam Haskell, Kramer, Schiaparelli, Hollycraft, Trifari, and Sarah Coventry are only some of my favorites. And don't forget those Unsigned Beauties! Women AND Men are all attracted to things that sparkle. Vintage costume jewelry is all about sparkle.

To help our customers make "informed purchases" we provide each listed item with the following information. If an item does not have one of the description items below it may be the information does not apply or we do not have knowledge of information. For items where the information may be of importance to the listed item we may note Unknown to Seller.

Description: Brief description of the item for sale.

Designer: Specific Manufacturer or Unsigned

Artist: Artist pertaining to the specific item for sale.

Hallmark: Description of the designer hallmark

Age - Circa: Specific date of item, for example the item can be dated based on patent or other identifying resource. Circa is based on a date range, for example 1950's.

Bead or Stone: Description of the beads or stones in the items for sale.

Metal: Metal description such as silver, gold, or rhodium

Hardware/Findings: The hardware or materials used to assemble the jewelry, such as clip-back for clip style earrings.

Condition: The ratings used (especially for jewelry) are:
Mint: New in the box as it came from the factory, however, this criteria is so difficult to meet it is almost never used.
Near Mint
No visible flaws and no signs of wear. It may display its age by tarnishing.
Excellent
Top condition with no chipping, fading, no missing stones, no graying, yellowing, or dead stones, no peeling, and no worn prongs or edges. Backs may be very slightly worn as long as the front is still in top condition. Replaced stones should be perfect in size, cut, and color it is unnoticeable.
Very Good
An “excellent” rating with the following differences: Small flaws not usually noticeable during wear including light scratches on the surfaces of imitation pearls, light scuffs on rhinestones, light marks on the metal's finish, enamel may have minor chip, and backs may be moderately worn.
Good
Completely wearable with working hardware; however, the wear may be more visible, and there may be light chipping. The rhinestones may reveal poor foiling including spotting (small “pepper” kind), minor darkening or graying, chipping, and minor yellowing and wear.
Fair
Visible damage that may include severe wear, spotting that is more than “pepper”, dark stones, missing stones, broken parts, and may or may not be repairable.
Altered, Refurbished, reconstruction, and soldered may also be used.

Size: Size of item.

Book Reference: Item is referenced in a published reference book.

Designer History: Brief history about the designer, artist, or other information pertaining to the listed item.
