For the woman who knows she is *special* and wants to stand out with class, please allow me to introduce you to one of my favorite dresses in my wardrobe.

This is a full-length ensemble, a stunning gown of sharkskin, or multi-colored shimmery burgandy material that moves and catches the light with you. The beauty starts at the top, with a vintage dress that is meant to be fitted to your body. Above the bustline, there are decorative material embellishments meant to stand up and bring attention to your bodice. After fitting through the bodice, the material is brought in at the waistline and than flares out again to the floor.

On the reverse of the dress, the back dips slightly and the waistline is framed by a double panel of material. A side zipper enhances the effect of slimming the gown. There are a couple snaps on the interior of the gown, but no straps were ever included to attach to this dress. I wore a soft crinoline underneath the gown to enhance the dress while dancing. (Crinoline not included with purchase).

On top of the gown, is included a short, fitted jacket to weather the elements. It is short sleeved, has a crossover front, and demurely fastens with three large, vintage rhinestone buttons. Superb!

Measurements:

Coat: No shoulder seams, approximately 16". Bust up to 34"; waist up to 30", length is 15.5" from neck to waistline.

Gown: No shoulders, Bust up to 28", 24" waist, hips up to 36", 45" length from top of gown to bottom.

This outfit goes stunning with the burgandy hat for sale in my store. There is a bit of wear to the dress, a couple pencil-head sized stains and a few tiny holes. In all, this dress is in good condition. Outfit is used, and was cleaned before placing into storage. Price listed is the price I paid for this dress 20+ years ago. I also have a picture of myself wearing this dress, but it only shows the top half. Please drop me an inquiry if interested.

I pinned this gown to my mannequin, as my mannequin is too large to fit the dress.
