Vendome SPARKLING Demi Parure - 3 Piece Set *Signed*

Vendome is a brand created by Coro and was released in 1944. Vendome's specialty was jewelry types incorporating pearls for various types of jewelry: necklaces, bracelets, charms etc.

This set I would guess dates to the 1960's.

It was fully described and priced out in the Indentification and Pricing Guide: Collecting Rhinestone & Colored Jewelry by Maryanne Dolan (3rd Edition, copyright 1993, page 237):

This pin and clip back earrings are reminiscent of the older crochet doilies with their starched and ruffled edges. Very pretty 2" pin of lilac beads with small pearls outlining the ruffled edge. Matching clip back earrings are 1 1/2" and the like the pin have a large round pearl center. All pieces are marked VENDOME. Value of set: $145-185.

As you can tell, this is grouping has lilac influences but the predominant color is green. The set is used and in good condition with one tiny missing bit of paint on the center of the faux pearl in the earring as shown. Price reflects.
