Miniature hand-painted porcelain plaque mounted on black glass in a gold gilt frame. Madonna and Christ Child hand-painted with a gold rim around the edge of the oval porcelain plaque.

The backing reads, "Richards" and "Made in Germany".

You can display this piece by standing or by hanging with the brass ring at the top.

Measures 2-3/4" wide x 3-1/4" high.

The hand-painted porcelain plaque and the black glass are in very good to excellent condition. There is a small chip to the frame at the top left of the brass ring. There is also wear to the frames finish; but nothing to detract from the special beauty of this piece. The lighter shade in the black glass and the spots on the porcelain plaque are just from the lights during picture taking.
