Goldcastle figural powder box of a lady dressed in a long royal blue gown with gold and floral details. She has one hand on her waist while the other is holding onto a long strand of pearls. She is wearing a pair of dangle earrings. You can also see her shoes and stockinged legs. Very pretty detailed facial features.

Marked "Goldcastle, Handpainted, Chikusa, Made in Japan". There is a clear picture of the mark below which also has a mark of a pagoda.

This is a larger powder box measuring 4-3/8" across from side to side, and 8-1/2" high.

Excellent condition. No chips or cracks.
