Edwardian Brown Silk Chiffon Dress with Exquisite Beading

Edwardian or early 1920's brown silk chiffon dress with awesome beading detail throughout.

Brown satin attached liner at the bodice and skirt. 3/4" length sleeves.

Bust: 36". Waist: 32". Hips: 44". Bodice length: 17". Waist to hem: 23".

Overall condition is good; but there are a couple of pencil eraser size holes. One on the front bodice and one on the back left shoulder blade area. This particular hold does appear in the last picture. Also, in the same picture, you can see some loose beadwork to the upper right of the hole area. Through time, the chiffon color has aged unevenly. The overall color is milk chocolate; but there are some areas that are slighter lighter or darker possibly due to the dye originally used in this piece.

This awesome dress features exquisite beading and can be worn gently; but it also displays beautifully. Clean; but has not been laundered.
