1948 Tucker Corp Stock Certificate with a facsimile signature of its visionary founder, Preston Tucker. Preston Tucker was an automotive entrepreneur, who after World War II designed a highly innovative automobile with a futuristic shape, a swiveling center headlight, independent four-wheel suspension, and many passenger safety features. The car was never produced, though 50 hand-built prototype Tucker '48s were built. Tucker was accused of stock fraud, that he never intending to produce the vehicle. He was acquitted, but the company failed. His legacy was documented in the 1988 movie, Tucker: The Man and His Dream. Certificate is in VF+ condition.
