The unissued 18__ Crescent Silver Co. stock certificate has two wonderful mining vignettes. One shows underground working miners, the other a cutaway of vertical shaft with miners working at bottom. Registered in Ohio, mine was located in Clear Creek County, Colorado. The company mined the Crescent Lode from the late 1860s to the mid 1870s. Crescent Silver Co. was the first to work during the winter season in a district that was inaccessible for 6 or 7 months of the year. EF condition.
