This beautiful bronze box measures 3 1/2" by 2 1/4" and is 2 1/4 " high. It looks like it was designed to use on a desk or ladies dresser to hold trinkets. The best part of this piece, done in the art nouveau style, is its gorgeous enamel top. The enamel work is done in a lovely golden shade with a large diamond shape in the middle surrounded by little scroll like designs. The border has black enameling to set off the design in a beautiful manner. The piece was manufactured by Lenk as written on the underside where it also reads "Made in Austria". I believe it is an early 20th century design and shows similarities to works done by Tiffany Studios in that same time period. It would make a fine addition to anyone's home.
