A perfect case to hold your business cards; this fabulous piece is made of mother of pearl and abalone.

Dating to the 19th century, it has an interesting pattern on both front and back. The central portion contains the mother of pearl displayed in a harlequin pattern, while the border has triangular pieces of abalone laid into it.

The interior is done in a fan or accordion shape and makes it quite easy to store your cards. Keep it in your purse or pocket and you'll be the talk of the office.

The case measures 4 1/4" by 3". It has a snap closure and a blue satin lining divided into 11 sections, each capable of holding several cards. It is in good antique condition with a few very minor chips. The interior card holding sections seem pristine, and will fit standard modern business cards.
