This is a Beautiful and Delicate Antique Glass Beaded Wreath Featuring Floral and Leaf Motif. A very Unusual works of art ! I can view Soft creamy white, yellow, black and green beads. Measuring about 13" across by 14" from tip to bottom of the bottom tassel. Intricately made and as found on a black velvety material.

Immortelles Beaded Wreaths were popular in the 1800's and often made by French, German and or Italian Peasants to decorate graves. They are not often found and are very rare sentimental heirlooms.

The flower petals and leaves were made by stringing tiny glass beads onto wires and than bending to shape and mold into a work of art.
