A stunning Egyptian Revival Tea Pot stamped on the bottom Meriden B- Company 1881 6. Circle scales mark. This tea pot is approx. 10" tall and holds about 8 cups of water. Very Decorative featuring a Vine leaf engraved motif. The handle features a unique Face. The tea pot top features a decorative handle with 2 band of Ivory which compliment this handle well. This silverplate teapot is four footed. The feet are very detailed and each foot has a decorative face at the top. I note normal wear to the teapot. I note the bottom may have been mended at one point as you may view in the picture but it does not affect the appearance of this tea pot and this pot does not leak . Apart form the silverplate ware and the possible noted repair to the bottom which cannot be viewed from the inside but only apparent when you look at the bottom this teapot is in good vintage condition. A real treasure and a very special Piece to add to your collection.
