American Brilliant Period Hawkes Brunswick Cut Glass Cider Pitcher

Although unmarked we were able to identify this piece as a Hawkes. If you watch Carol Weir's video on the Cut Glass Collector's site you see her highlight this exact pitcher.

We will agree with Carol that this is a lovely example of a cider pitcher. The Brunswick pattern features a triple cut applied handle, a hobstar deep cut pattern on the base and a lovely scalloped rim pattern as well. Sitting at a height of 6.5" and 7" wide this is a nice size and could even have been used as a buttermilk pitcher.

There is a few bites on the rim and a flake on the underside of the lip. Due to this we have priced this pitcher accordingly.
