Rare Gebruder Heubach German Porcelain Toy Tea Set Hand Painted Incised Mark DEP c. 1882

The tea pot to this antique porcelain tea set has the Gebruder Heubach sunburst mark with "DEP" at the very bottom. This tell us that it was manufactured in 1882 and country of origin is Germany.

The pink rose decoration and gold are all hand applied to each and every piece. There are 19 pieces which include the lids to teapot and sugar bowl. There is one saucer that has a few flea bites at the rim (email us for a picture). Other than that this set is in fine condition. Included is the box bottom that each piece fits into perfectly.

We don't believe this was played with all that much. We see extra slip here and there on this set but this was typical for child's play set and does not decrease the value in the least.

The size on this set is doll size. The teapot measures 3.5" high, the creamer 1.75" high, sugar 2" high, cup 1.375" high, saucer 2.675" diameter and the reticulated tea plates measure the same as the saucers.

You will be hard pressed to find another tea set from the renowned factory of dolls and figurines. What a great, rare item to add to your doll collection!
