We offer for your consideration one of the most truly beautiful purses we have seen in a long time.

This tapestry reticule has a wonderful rose pattern on both front and back and looks all hand done. What makes this bag extra special is the brass mounts at the top.

On this area you see a lovely woman's right facing cameo profile in an oval frame. Just above here the clasp is decorated with a cobalt blue paste jewel. The the very sides we see the same decoration of past jewels.

The interior boasts a lovely Kelly green satin lining with one rose applique to adorn it. The interior is just beautiful and a lovely match to the exterior of roses in a garden.

There is a bit of fraying to the material in the side areas where the brass mounts close but nothing that takes away from the beauty of this item.

The purse measures 8.25" long and 6.5" wide. The chain hangs 13.5" and is mounted one end on either side of the top of the purse.

This would be a perfect accessory if you participate in Civil War re-enactment. A lovely addition to your costume!
